Dhyan founded Zazen Health Solutions in April 2006, after recognising his own need for more direct attention to his health. He had come across the technology behind the far-infrared sauna, and the difference it made convinced him it was worth building properly.
Zazen went on to become the first to produce scalar-balanced far-infrared sauna systems in Asia — pairing far-infrared warmth with Zazen's own Scalar generator technology in a single instrument, a combination that remains the company's defining idea twenty years on.

In 2009, the original Zazen FIR Thermal System won the Best Wellness Equipment Award — recognition for what was then a new category of technology-based wellness in Malaysia.
Zazen Health Solutions Europe AB opened in Stockholm in 2017, alongside partner offices in Vancouver, Arizona, Florida and Zurich — instruments built in Malaysia now reaching guests across four continents.

The original Zazen FIR Thermal System wins the Best Wellness Equipment Award.
The Zazen Scalar generator launches, built around Zazen's own patented design.
